Oregon Track Day Event

What is Track Day?

  The Oregon Track Day is an autocross event for both novice and experienced drivers.  It is a great opportunity to try your hand at an autosport event, with minimal expense.  It is open to all Fiat enthusiasts participating in the Oregon2003 event.  Street-driver cars are welcome, including convertibles with roll bars.

  The Track Day will have two components:

• open track practice session  (9am to 12noon)

•  autocross competition event  (1pm to 4pm)

There will be three competition classes:  RACE – for race prepared cars; STREET – for street-driven cars; and NOVICE – for first-time Track Day drivers.

  How do I register?

  Due to the expense of facilities and equipment rental, pre-event registration and pre-payment are necessary.  Although same-day registration may be available, preference will be given to paid pre-event registrants.

    Pre-event registration fee          $40.00             (before July 1st)
    Same-day registration fee          $75.00             (limited basis only)

  What do I need to do to my car?

  In order to participate, both the driver and car must pass a basic safety inspection of the following:

Car

• Battery securely mounted with clamp (no bungee cords)

•  Seatbelt – 3-point belt preferred

•  Roll bars in convertibles (X-1/9 is exempt)

• Functioning brakes and throttle return spring

• Good wheel bearings and ball joints

• Securely mounted seat

•  No active leaks or drips

• Remove all loose objects from interior and trunk

Driver

• Driver’s license and insurance (duh!)

• Full shoes – no sandals, open-toed shoes, or bare feet

•   Helmet – Snell 90 or newer, M or SA rated (loaners will be available)
