Joćo Ludovice's 1972 Fiat 128 Rally

  • Stock 1290 cc SOHC with 67 CV @ 6000 rpm
  • Weber 32 ICEV (Uncle’s transformation)
  • Too many kilometers

  • Stock 4-speed

  • Stock

  • Something strange on original Crommodora 4-1/2 J x 13

  • Front Disc/Rear Drum

  • Stock and like Swiss cheese (full of holes)
  • Non-original Split Bumper

  • Stock with good interior - unbelievable! (apart of the cardboards)

This car was imported to Angola in 1972. Was bought by an uncle in the same year. He brought it to Portugal in 1975... survived all these years with a bunch of medicines. I was wondering to have that car since 1998 (It’s my child dream) but finally my uncle has decided to give it to m - he saw my first one and now he considers me some kind of 128’s wizard...

I have two solutions, get another body or repair this one, but that is going to be decided during the next few days...

With this new acquisition I started looking for two new dashboards :)

These are some of the photos of the 128 and its former owner (my uncle):

trying to open the door with a wire. ;)

    128AR000 stock engine (with a 32 ICEV).

    Tail lights still alive.

A huge contrast between this one and the "Clockwork Orange" at the back.

Different tyre sizes are tilting the car.

Awful bonnet scoops from Renault 5, wrong grill and wrong bumper.

A lot of work to do...
