Bought in 1999 in fairly rusty cond. I have finally fitted a 1500 gearbox and 5 speed. Next plans are to sort the suspension a little, new inserts at the front and sort the rear geometry.(Does anyone know where I can get new inserts for early X1/9 rears?). New exhaust with one good perfomance muffler in it. A hotter cam ( does anyone have a FAZA 35/75 cam they want to sell or know if you can still buy them? how much? please help!) and twin 40mm sidedraft carbs. Then maybe a paint job etc. etc. etc.
