This is the car that replaced my old 4-door in the summer of '97. I bought it for $500 with a snapped timing belt. I justified the expense because of its nearly flawless interior and very straight, rust free body (with a new but shoddy paint job). It also had new tires and an Ansa muffler (which turned out to be the wrong application - it was a 124 coupe muffler). I spent a day swapping the rebuilt engine from my old 128 into this car. Later came the stereo, exhaust, and other good bits from my old car.
