1968 124 Wagon

I was planning to hot-rod the '72 Wagon, but then this little gem fell into my lap. It had it's own needs, but it had a much better interior than the '72 and all the nice little cosmetic bits the early Wagons had (round side markers, different turn signals, all chrome grille, etc). The engine had so few miles on it and ran very well (after fixing some fuel system and driveshaft issues), I couldn't go through with the twin-cam conversion.

I drove the car frequently for about a year when fellow Fiat friend, Mark Plaia, mentioned he was interested in an early sedan I had spotted in my travels. I half-jokingly asked if he was interested in an early wagon, to which his response was, "Tell me more." In short, I ended up selling him the wagon, which was to become his wife's daily driver. I knew he would take good care of the car (and from his progress reports, he has) and I needed to thin my fleet of cars, as I couldn't afford to keep them all up.
