Engine and Driveline

Fiat twin cam 1608cc motor is bored .040" over, and fitted with 81mm forged-Venolia pistons at 12:1CR.
Note: Water pump driven by exhaust cam pulley.

1608cc engine fitted with Pittatore 48-67 67-48 cams; Dual Weber IDF 40 13/15 carburators with 34mm chokes, and 1.75" 4-1 header.

Note: battery moved to trunk, and Fiat OEM electronic ignition fitted with Plex-5 distributor, Marelli HP coil, and Magnecor 8.5mm ignition wires.

Engine equipped with 13 row oil cooler, 3 quart Accusump
and remote Canton-Mecca 4" oil filter.

Brake booster removed and master cylinder mounted directly on firewall.
Oil-air separator modified for remote catch-can.
