Re: Ladder Bumpers - what was the first year?

wow, I would expect that strange & creative vin/spec work 124s could be an area of interest of their own. I suppose these days with values increasing they may not be as likely candidates for this, but in the past their relative low value would make them likely for this sort of thing so that an enthu...

Re: '69 Spider / '81 Engine Swap

I would think hood clearance with a flat hood and the straight radiator support on the AS (vs the notched BS/CSx type) along With some very minor sitting and routing of exhaust . Csaba did FI and kept the flat hood, right? As far as the feel comments, yes it’s different but I think they’re all fun t...

Re: Ha, Ha ... FN Ha

that poster seems to periodically make its rounds in the local car enthusiast group FB group. If nothing else, it seems like a reason for a car guy to dislike California.

Re: 73 1608 Engine with limited power

When I sold my old '74 124 Sedan, the new owner began cursing me driving it home when a plug blew out of the engine. I have owned TCs with badly mangled plug threads, thankfully mostly parts cars. Re: libertà

I understand. If I think about it too hard, it’s kind of embarrassing to think that I could end up lumped into a social group who feels like that initial dialog is a worthwhile way to engage the mass of computers and networking we call the Internet. Indeed. I’m used to filtering out that which I do ...

I enjoy (usually) keeping up with friends in the various worlds I orbit in - local/not & cars/cycling/engineering/life in general. I blocked a whole group of folks who ...
