--Brad, I once rented a 350 lb. one from Auto Zone to do a neighbors crush washer on the diff of a Jeep Wrangler. You might try your local auto parts stores that loan tools.

--Ryan, did you have the alignment tool in place when you secured the pressure plate to the flywheel? If not, pull the transmission back, loosen the pressure plate and be sure the alignment tool seats before re-tightening.

--To isolate a faulty booster, just cut the hose and seal off the intake manifold. No need to worry about the booster end of the hose.
