I just did this to my Spider that was sitting in Iowa for 15 years. Over the winter I set about cleaning/replaceing many components. 1. Turn engine to TDC, verify timing marks 2. Remove timing belt and plugs. 3. Turn crank backwards and watch #1 & 4 pistons through the spark plug holes go back down ...

Hi Carl,

I think Spider buyers these days want a largely stock spider even though a stock spider is lacking in a lot of areas. That is why I left my 84 stock just in case after its long rebuild I do not not like it and want to move on, it will be easier to sell.

Hey anybody that can properly shim a rear is okay in my book,.... Ronnie Isn't Phanthom Cry Works that show that cries about every job in their spacious well lit, well equipped garage? Not fan especially after they charged that poor woman 10k fix a couple of oil seals and lube seat tracks on her spi...
