Re: Detonation Problems- Can They Be Beaten?

Joshua- Have a look at one of my posts from a year or so back. I have done quite a bit in addition to longer duration camshafts. If you haven't already -look into a true cold air intake. Colder range iridium plugs and getting the cleanest burn you can. I have a MSD 6a box installed to help that. An ...

Re: Fel-Pro heavy duty head gasket thickness

Thanks Jim!

So it doesn't compress as much as I thought it would. But all good in the end.

Fel-Pro heavy duty head gasket thickness

Can someone tell me the thickness of an uncompressed Fel-Pro gasket?

I never did write that number down in my notes. I know the compressed thickness ranges .055 to .058 thousands.

A car set up for 0.5 degree positive camber will settle to Zero or a bit negative. I choose to laden the car beforehand to a weight that I normally drive with. Then I set my camber...

Re: Adjusting Camber

I set up my car with 1 degree negative camber. This was after I loaded the car with all manner of weights to simulate the driver and a passenger. I like the way it handles.

Re: The Art of the Deal....err....sale

I have listed a few things on craigslist. Takes forever to get any responses in my experience so listing it now would'nt hurt. On another note I have a set of bumpers that I took off a parts car. Fair condition at best. I kept them because well.... you just never know.

Re: Storing a Spider for 2 years

Put it up on jackstands. My brand new radial tires were permanently flat-spotted after sitting a few years. NOT fun.
