Re: Early 124 Spider Radiator Fan

That is correct. This is the radiator mounted electric fan.

Early 124 Spider Radiator Fan

Hello!

I'm looking for an early 124 Spider radiator fan blade for a 1971 124 Spider with the original 1600 engine. I'd prefer to just buy the blade, but would be willing to buy an entire assembly. The blade in my client's car is disintegrating.

Any help is appreciated!

Re: 1608 Engine Rebuild

I ended up buying the Mondial pistons. They're the correct size for my block (so I don't have to over-bore the block), and these are confirmed to be the correct high-comp pistons for a 1608cc engine. Estimated delivery from Italy is May 7 - May 23, so I'll post an update on the build after I receive...

Re: 1608 Engine Rebuild

I also found a set of Mondial 7080 Pistons. I know that these are the correct Euro spec high comp pistons for the 1608. Is there a difference between the Borgo's and the Mondials in terms of quality? (assuming the Borgos are correct)

Re: 1608 Engine Rebuild

I've been scouring for some pistons and I found some that look promising. They are Borgo Pistons with the part number 66.6533. They are 80.06mm. I've done some research, and Borgo part number 66.6523 is the correct part number for 1608cc euro spec (9.9-1 compression) pistons. Can anyone confirm whet...

Re: 1608 Engine Rebuild

I'd like to have a modest increase in power over stock while retaining the original 1608 engine. I think at this stage I'd like to find some original Euro spec 9.8/1 pistons and have everything in the lower end balanced. I've already port matched and polished the head, converted the points to a pert...

Re: 1608 Engine Rebuild

I still use them, I'm just worried about what they'll say about the new pistons, and about how long it will take them to finish up the engine. They've always done great work, but it seems that they're getting slower and slower.

1608 Engine Rebuild

I've just removed the 1608 engine from my '71 due to a leaky rear main seal. The car has 62,000 original miles, and the engine is in decent shape aside from needing seals, but since the engine is out I'd like to rebuild the lower end and possibly do a few modifications to increase the power. I measu...

Re: '74 X1/9 Project For Sale

I'd love to see this car go to someone from the Mira group or the Fiat community in general, so I'm offering the car to Mira members for $2700.

850 Spider Parts

I sold my 850 Spider a few months back and I'd like to sell off the remaining parts to clear some space and earn some money to put back into my '71 Spider's engine rebuild. All the parts are priced obo, and don't include shipping costs. Local pick-up preferred on the body panels. I've got the parts ...
