Yugo heater core..

I’m in search of a non leaking heater core for my 89 Yugo. It can be rough around the edges as long as it doesn’t leak.

Many thanks,
Ryan

Re: Stock Yugo jetting

Well I have it purring like a kitten. But when I hit the gas, that kitten sounds like it has a two pack a day habit lol. It seems to be spraying too much fuel into the secondary. It’s spraying a crap ton out that tiny hole that’s above the choke butterfly. If I cover that tiny hole with my finger an...

Re: Stock Yugo jetting

Question:

You were running a 50 main and a blocked secondary?

Thanks

it’s an 1100. The carb is virtually identical to the carter-Weber that came in these new.

Stock Yugo jetting

Anyone know what the stock Yugo carb jetting is? I just got a new Weber carb for a ford escort (essentially same carb that came on Yugo) of course, the jets are way too big. I’ve got bogging down when I open the secondary

Thanks

Wiper arms

Need a set of wiper arms for the Yugo. The press on type, not the bolt on. Black painted preferred. Can be a little rough, as long as they work

I have a feeling that X19, 128, 127 and such will work too

Thanks

Brake drum headaches..

I just replaced the drums, shoes, cylinders and bearings on my Yugo. When I got everything together the springs slightly rub the hub. Holding the old shoe next to the new they both look the same. Am I overlooking something in the reassembly?

Thanks

Re: Winter gear lube advice needed.

Thanks, I may have to give that a go.

Any thoughts on using something like a 20 50 weight motor oil in the transmission?

Re: Oils, zinc, again

I usually run whatever high mileage oil is on special at the Zone. Filters, though, I'm a little more picky about. Every 5k I've put hundreds of thousands of miles on various Lancias/Fiats and rely on a Yugo as a daily driver. I've never experienced any catastrophic internal motor wear due to oil th...
