Wiper arms

Need a set of wiper arms for the Yugo. The press on type, not the bolt on. Black painted preferred. Can be a little rough, as long as they work

I have a feeling that X19, 128, 127 and such will work too

Thanks

Brake drum headaches..

I just replaced the drums, shoes, cylinders and bearings on my Yugo. When I got everything together the springs slightly rub the hub. Holding the old shoe next to the new they both look the same. Am I overlooking something in the reassembly?

Thanks

Re: Winter gear lube advice needed.

Thanks, I may have to give that a go.

Any thoughts on using something like a 20 50 weight motor oil in the transmission?

Re: Oils, zinc, again

I usually run whatever high mileage oil is on special at the Zone. Filters, though, I'm a little more picky about. Every 5k I've put hundreds of thousands of miles on various Lancias/Fiats and rely on a Yugo as a daily driver. I've never experienced any catastrophic internal motor wear due to oil th...

Winter gear lube advice needed.

The Yugo needs a better alternative to gl1 I've been using this winter. The gear shift gets the old broomstick in a bucket of tar feel to it in the subzero temps. What's a safe thinner oil alternative for this time of year?

Thanks

Brake reservoir cap needed..

I'm looking for a decent one with a good seal and uncracked rubber test plunger.

Thanks,

Re: Final production of X1/9 and Spider-addendum

Dude, you're saying that the Ritmo Abarth 130tc (granted, never imported here) is not a sexy car? I'll grant you that the Yugos styling leaves much to be desired. But it does have a certain eastern bloc panache to it. The shark nose sets it apart from the pedestrian VW mk1 Rabbit, Festiva and Plymou...

Yugo 4spd inner cv tripod bearing question..

should it fit on the half shaft splines loose or tight? In my never ending quest to cure the leak at that inner boot seal, I noticed that bearing fits on rather tightly. I need a puller to take it off safely. Is that how it's supposed to be? Also, if anyone has any tips on fixing the inner boot seal...

Re: Well, I finally bought an Italian motorcycle..

I've been riding street bikes for years. In fact, I rode from PA up to Newfoundland with Scott "X1/9 trailer" Phelps a few years ago. The stator crapped out on my Suzuki GS1150 just 20 miles from his place on the way back that trip. We pulled the bikes over to snap a pix of this huge moose, then hea...

Well, I finally bought an Italian motorcycle..

It's an Aprilia Pegaso, 2000 vintage. 650cc and Factory Givi luggage system. The best part? It has Veglia instruments.. it's like being on a 2 wheel Fiat, only better.
