Of course not all "vintage" Fiats are cheap models. Is some of the motivation to address the much higher priced European market. Have you seen the price of spiders in Europe, particularly the Pininfarina years ? The of course there is the volumex spider models, nothing less than 40K euros these days...

Aren't the intake and exhaust pulleys normally of the same style (both solid or both with cut-outs)

Is it "better" to match them for balance ?

Yes - Del Priore At one time I thought G+B sold Spax to the volumex crowd but I could not find it on their website recently I do not know what the volumex owners replace their shocks with. Are mixed brand sets a good idea ? If sufficiently adjustable then I suppose you can make any combination work....

Hi Sam Guess I haven't checked in here in a while. I usually try to remember to search for volumex each time I log in to see what vx related items I may have missed :) I do not recall the original shocks to feel TOO stiff on the volumex. As far as I know the volumex Bilsteins had a specific valving ...
