Re: How are new spider sales doing?

I agree, FCA targeted the wrong group. Every one likes the idea of a small light weight sports car but no one really wants to buy one. Toyota and Subaru found that out the hard way with the BRZ. What FCA should have done was shoehorned the Pentstar motor in the new spider. Instant Halo car and stree...

Re: alluminum crank pully worth it?

On my two liters I have the outer pulley machined off. Does not save much weight but makes it easier to get a socket on the crank nut with the radiator in place. I never really think about it until I work on a stock 2l with the three groove pulley, then everything becomes a pita.

Re: replacing 124 transmission with 131 5 speed

Hi, I’m currently in the process of converting my spider to a 131 transmission. If you have any questions just ask. I’m still messing around with the upper transmission tunnel modifications.

Re: Allison Sportiva wheels?

Carl,

Diamond and Keiser make nice deep dish wheels in our bolt pattern.

I think Midwest bayless has experience with these wheels. In the old days I ran Keiser wheels when I ran my spider with EMRA.

Re: VAS shocks/springs anyone?

Mike be careful with front spring removal. That is one job that still scares me after all these years. You can rent a spring tool from autozone, but it really does not fit.

Weber 32/36 DFEV Jetting Recommendations

Hi All, A buddy of mine gave a another buddy a Weber 32/36 DFEV carb. Unfortunately the carb was sent without jets. I have a bunch of jets I can send. Looking for recommendations regarding main, air & idle jet sizes. I seem to always jet them too rich. The carb is going on a stock 2L with a 1800 int...

Re: Relay wiring madness

Funny how no one ever wanted any X I had around here. Found this out with the Scorpion, most women do not like wedge shape cars. They like the round shape of the spider with chrome accents. Shinny is good. My wife hated that scorpion but loves my spiders. I tried to explain the superior mid engine ...
