They go to the power antenna.

Page numbered 54 (57 of the online PDF) the 1980 Wiring diagram in the library.

Re: 124 Front Upper Control Arm modification

It is hard to know what the effect on the geometry would be without running it through some software/doing some drawing. Shortening the arm would have a significant effect on the overall motion of the wheel/tire. It would be interesting to see if they are also making steering system changes in addit...

Re: 71 850 Sport Spider in Italy

It seems a bit dear as they would say in England.

Low miles, nice wheels. Nicely presented but few pics. Likely better than any one might get here.

I wouldn’t buy one sight unseen as they are so many areas on an 850 Spider where the tin worm can make a car of little value.

Re: Fiat Spider Door

I believe Mark Battaglia in Grand Rapids has two left, early Spider doors for sale. He is thinking about scrapping them as there haven’t been any takers. I believe he posted them on the Fiat Auto Trader on Facebook.

I can give you his email if you are interested, you can contact him directly.

Re: Using a parallel string line to set toe in

This a good video about the right way to do this, you don’t want to just stretch the line around the outside of the tires or just the rear tires as you won’t actually end up with a parallel string. https://youtu.be/IlxexbeCDJ0 Getting a couple of pieces of conduit really makes this quite easy to set...

Re: Installing Injector pig tails

I headed to school in Pasadena in 1983. Pasadena is in the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains (4000-10,000 feet). They dominate the skyline. I was there a week before I realized that there were mountains because the smog was so bad it completely hid them. I have a great set of pictures out my a...

Re: 1972 124 Coupe tire size

A 165/80 13 tire would correspond almost exactly to a 185/70 13 tire in overall diameter. Going down to a 60 series 185 would be an inch and a half shorter and the speedo would register have a 7% error (60 shown would be 55 in actuality). A 175/70 13 would be almost 3/4” shorter than a 165/80, a sma...

Re: Garage building thoughts, specifically prefab/metal & aesthetics

Check with Jon Ranney about his movable two post lift. It lifts the car enough to use a stool under the car, not stand.

It can be moved to other positions in a garage with appropriate preparation and the units can be moved by one person.
