Shocked and amazed at Ken Block's antics on this drive.

Wow! I want one of those cool handbrake levers. That will be my next mod on the spider. :D

I want a turbo spider and rearrange it so the turbo pokes out through the hood.

Yeah yeah yeah, all smoke and wasted energy ... looks cool if you like drifting, which after all is scored by "style points" lol...... Sorry, but could not produce a link to Utube, but check Sebastian Loeb's Peugeot Pikes Peak record setting run... that is "driving fast" not making the Donuts

I am glad I got to see a few of the races before the whole road was paved. Sure was a great mix of cars .... Matt

Some of you missed the point. It was a fun video with stunning views of the road, a man with better car control than any of us on this forum and a mad fake 65 Mustang with 1300 hp. The drift, autocross stuff appears to be Ken's thing.

No argument, it is really a fun thing to watch, unreal car control , great backdrop, wacky cool car... Have you seen the thing he did in San Francisco a few years back .... to my eyes, that car in side profile makes me think of an Abarth 131... just swint a bit .....just trying to make a point that all sideways is usually not the fast way round.... no doubt the guy is a brilliant driver and I sure he damm well knows how to di it in a less show bizz style .... man I used to go to Lebanon Valley to watch the winged sprint cars do their thing.... !

Your topic heading doesn't quite suit the video though. It's not about driving fast it's about car control two different things.

Also Ken Blocks video's are never one take, he does the various manoeuvres over and over again till he get's them right (this is evident in the tire marks on the road where he does the first figure 8) then they stitch the best of them together to make the clip.

IMHO it's entertaining yes but not that impressive.
