Washer hoses and T

Post by friedman » Sat Jan 13, 2018 3:23 pm

For my spider windshield washer, I need the small hoses that go to the washer nozzles and the T connector that connects the two nozzle hoses to the larger pump hose.

While Home Despot should probably be a proud sponsor of my street X the truth is they don't sell hoses and Ts that tiny. The T is funky because the supply hose from the pump is a larger diameter than the hoses to the nozzles. I thought one of you clowns would have an old cowl with this stuff still attached...I was shocked to find out I didn't have it.

Fiat Plus has them. I plumbed my 128 Rally with their hose - worked great.

I do have a number of T's from 128s, maybe 124s. Next time I'm over at the big top tent I'll look and see if there's one with a bit inlet and small outlets.

Apparently there were different sized nozzles in regard to the hose spigots but the spigots I have use the really small hoses, hence the need for a dual sized T. I'm sick when I think of all this stuff I have apparently tossed in the past.

I found a T that's about 5.1 mm OD on the inlet and 3.4 mm OD on the outlets. Should be right for the hose I linked to earlier. I've got plenty of old hose if you want it. But I think you should live a little and treat yourself to some new stuff ;)

ACE hardware, or an aquatics supplier - fish tank piping and fitments work just fine!
