128SL racer rebuild

Post by rridge » Thu Apr 06, 2017 9:16 pm

The forum of Classic Motorsports has a long and interesting thread well illustrated with pictures of the restoration of a mid-70s SCCA racer based on the 128SL. Find it here:https://classicmotorsports.com/forum/bu ... 501/page1/

Quite the build thread. The amount of exotic race pieces on this car is out of this world

In todays world that is a "cost no object" build... and would probable cost over a $100 K to build to those standards.... but what a piece work it is!
I plan on being at LRP for this Septembers vintage festival and will get some photos and post ...
