--Hi Mike. Likely one of the closest facilities to you will be New Jersey Motorsports Park in south Jersey. They have a couple of upcoming events in Oct and Nov. You'll need to review the equipment requirements carefully, ie roll bar and helmut, etc. Also looks like they offer a variety of entry level track opportunities as well.

We did the track day at Xtreme in NOLA too! Loved it... I ended up punting about the GT-R until I broke the tires...

I have a roll bar, need a helmet. I'm thinking new suspension over the winter and hitting the track next spring. Highly recommend the NOLA xtreme experience...looking forward to an R8 next.

I've got an almost new helmet for sale. It's an SA2015 G-Force EX9 (https://www.racerpartswholesale.com/pro ... ts#reviews) - large, white.
It comes with clear and smoked visors and optionally with Hans mounting points. Complete with box, etc.
I used it at one school early this year. It's in like new condition. $250, you pay shipping.

Sounds reasonable, but haven't gone that far yet. I want to invest in sorting the front and rear with new components first...

Totally appreciate your spirit for wanting to drive your 124 Spider fast. But dialing in the suspension to "improve" handling and adding sticky tires and a good tune, even with a stock engine, will generate increased concerning and braking forces, subjecting the engine to an increased degree oil of starvation. Trust me, as your lap times come down, the risk of engine damage from oil starvation is increased. Using an Accusump in a track driven 124 is the most efficient fix, and in 20 years of doing this, I never hurt a TC engine bottom end.
