And springs?

I need to get measuring and see if the springs are the same diameter base (I *think* they are).... and the shocks have the same lower mount (I *think they do)...

Csaba to the Rescue!

AR have third member units that fit the old rear end, are preassembled, and slot straight in (once the axles are pulled). 3.90:1

Some updates from the Wagon work.... a slight deviation across eBay yielded a rather nice Hella chromed back up light which I think will work quite nicely on the chrome bumpers.

... and back to floor action. Front floors look much nicer once sanded and primed. You can see the extent of the replacement, especially in the driver’s side. This was on top of POR15. ... and then the remainder of the POR15 that was in the tin as that stuff just doesn’t keep...!

All taped up and ready to get the interior painted.

Deliberately keeping under the rear seat original as 1) the paint is flawless and that’s what I’ve matched to, and 2) there’s the original paper tape in there holding the wiring in place - don’t want to replace that!

Looking good.

What kind of gas pump is it ?
Is it quiet?
My Facet cube drives me nuts.

It's a Facet gold flow. Not particularly quiet - but it's tucked away there in the trunk, which is good. Mount on rubber mounts.

I recently put a Carter pump on an X1/9. Funny...constant running so no Facet box beating noise, but it even with isolators it’s whirring noise is loud.

On the front European signals/lights...I was looking at the front of mine the other night & having previously thought my front brackets were bent, I realized the US models must use different brackets to raise the bumper (height refs, I’d figure) & effectively obscure the body-mounted light location.
