FWIW, both nuts on the accelerator cable are supposed to be on the left side. They are supposed to work as jam nuts, to keep from coming off. If one looks the left side of the holder (on the plenum) is machined flat so the nuts can rest against it. The other side is not.

Yep, you're right...but if you zoom-in enough, you'll notice there is a almost half of the protruding aluminum part that is broken/missing. Assembling the Jam Nuts that way was my only solution to solve this problem, without replacing the whole plenum trottle body part…
