Given the private messages Brad has sent me on the engine - it’s a 2000 FI for sure ;)

You guys know me well enough to know i wouldn’t touch a “conversion” engine job. It’s a spider 2000 that has primiarly suffered and benefited from owners with money but without sensibility

I’ll get it on the road next week when all four brakes are renewed and give a better photo tour of the current state

A couple of pics - the car runs well enough now to drive around. New fuel tank, pump, filter, etc. solved the fuel issue. Rebuilt calipers (3) and one new one, new ignition parts, a lot of electrical system re-dos.

Runs well but the afm has been tampered with so it’s struffling with an over lean condition at low rpms and develeration. Great power after 3000. Almost like it has cams, but I don’t think it does. It’s on the list to check now that I know the FI is solid. Along with a timing belt and water pump job.

Probably keep it - though the funds sure would be nice for the pending and certainly more costly AS project.
