Glad you are enjoying it and hope it was a fair deal all around! Funny I'm building that exact car now: 72 I just finished cutting and replacing all the rust on, new interior, dual IDF's, Whoa brakes, just did all 4 corners with springs, shocks, A-arms, bushings etc. and new brakes lines and calipers all around. i'm going to run it for the summer then drop in a fresh 2L with high-comp pistons and reworked head. Enjoy the car!

Sorry but the spider is sold and the new owner drove it home to New York this past Saturday.

Yea, I was a much better Patent Examiner than I am a car salesman.

Just to make you feel a bit worse, a very average 1980 carbed Spider with non-original dark green paint and a set of steel wheels just sold on BaT for $6400 in Great Neck NY.

--Of course you didn't know Carl, but you should know by now that you and I generally share the same taste in Fiats. When you first presented it with dual 40's and all the goodies, I bit my tongue so hard I couldn't speak, and then I bit my fingers so I couldn't text you either. I was so relieved when you sold it! I just had no where to put it nor any time to dedicate to it. :(

Well, thanks to you I have a pair of IDFs on my parts shelf and I'm trying to find a manifold to mount them on one of my Xs.

--I don't think the Snow's are in X1/9 racing anymore? You might be able to score some dual 40 DCNF's from them, and then I could take those IDF's off your hands. I just happen to have a spare waffle manifold looking for some carbs....

Don't you have to find a car to put them on? I had a spider for sale that had them already mounted!
