I have a week of classes to take to keep up my teaching credentials. So there will not be any progress on the car this week :(

It looks a nice build Randy. Good job.

Assume we’ll see this at FFO, Orlando?

...... The 40 idf's I have had for 20 years, the cams I am trying from a vendor. I have alquatti billet ones. But I wanted to see how theirs work / last. even the 9.8-1 pistons came with a car I bought.

......This will be a street car. I may only drive it once every few weeks or more often depending. If you think this is nuts you should check the spec on my scorpion motor I am building.

--Randy, I don't think this project is nuts at all.....now the cam combination on your Scorpion, (he he he he), that's another matter!

did a lot of things today. Just doesnt seem like much got finished. Blasted and powder coated a bunch of rear end parts. Sheet metal, rear brake brackets. Springs and rear sway bar. Also received my torsen differential. installed the heater and a small amount of firewall insulation.

installed the torsen differential. Ended up replacing both axles with used ones I had with new bearings. Installed the front hubs and packed the wheel bearings. Installed the tie rods and center link. Fabricated the rear bumper brackets. I had to make a decision on which way I was going to go. Early or tube bumpers. I was then able to install the gas tank.

got a few more things checked off the list...
1. 2 wheels powder coated. The magnesium wheels are very rough cast and have many imperfections. i left them alone. Adds character. Also 1 had some pitting from a wheel weight placed there for too long. a metallurgic reaction of sorts I'm sure.

2. finished restoring the wiper linkage. Took it completely apart and lubed it and reassembled. Put the cowl panel and hood back on. Even though they are coming back off during the exterior paint process
