Thank you for the kind remarks! I haven't kept track of the time spent but amazingly enough it is not a ridiculous amount. You have to remember I know these cars inside and out. I did own a FIat repair shop for 20 years. Having said that I totally enjoy what I am doing. I am so glad that others are getting something out of it as well.

Today i got the POR15 on the bottom side and fabricated a heat shield for the down pipe .

sorry the picture quality is not real good, I guess even iphones have bad days

there was a small hole in the pass side frame rail, it was caused by the prior owner welding an exhaust brace to it. The brace pulled out a chunk of metal weakened by the weld. No rust. So I repaired that and sealed it.

Today I put on WURTH grey rubber stone guard on the bottom of the car.

Randy,
Fabulous work on this restoration. I like that you are also adding some modifications for performance and handling that will make this a great driver for the 21st century. My resto/mod on my '74 Spider was revised after completion to include the Whoa Wilwood Brakes, the later larger brake Master/Bellows set, all new lines (compensator omit), a 3.90:1 rear diff, and gear reduction starter, among many other things. I am another follower on this thread.
Looking for ward to seeing this one on the road!

thanks for the complements, I want to be able to have fun and at least see the hondas that are blowing me away at every light. LOL I am also building a scorpion. It is on hold until this is finished. I hope to have this ready for the freak out
