Further fodder re; OR, etc.

Always something going on at Casa de Stuco, project wise.
The blue '71 Spider is still in a state of suspended animation, buts that's OK.
The 1800 engine has been taken out, and has gone thru a more aggressive and professional build up.
That 1800 engine will be going into the 124 Wagon soon. Likewise, the warmed over 1608 from Wagon will
go into the 71 spider. A double swap of sorts.
In the mean time I have acquired a '81 spider, just for the Pini hardtop, which I am going thru end to end, for resale.
The '81, which just needed a little love, has since received a new clutch, drive shaft rebuild, valve job refresh with new headgasket, pads, rotors, hoses, wheel bearings, wheel strip and reapaint, 5 new tires, heater core and controls, radiator refresh new waterpump, and coolant. The recaro brackets, seats, trick console, and new top will be on soon. Then it gets sold.
The '71 Wagon gets the 1800 installed, with trick dual 40 set up, as well as internal gear ratios change over within the LADA 5 speed.
All should be done by Oregon, but don't count on seeing the '71 spider there. I may show up in the Wagon.
Thanks for asking, now get on that head gasket job! SB

You mean you *will* show up in the wagon. This is non-negotiable :D

Sounds like you are making great progress on all fronts! The carb setup looks spectacular!

Let's just say that Oregon is still up in the air, but it would be the wagon.
Look close at the carb set up and you will find the X1/9 cam cover linkage!
