The motor:

1500 cc
Head resurfaced & rebuilt
Crank reground and polished
Rebuilt con rods
New OEM/NOS Pistons .020 over
Alquati valve springs
Fly wheel surfaced and lightened
New Sachs clutch TO/bearing
Bored to 2nd oversize
Weber 34DMTR, new
Yugo elect ign
FI plumbing left in place JIC.
Exhaust mani is a powder coated
PBS, 4 into 1. It feeds into a new
Turbo-Thrust muffler.

Trans-axle:

Rebuilt 1 month ago
All new bearings
Shifts nicely
New lollypop linkage

Suspension:

New KYB shocks, not fancy
Red IAP red lowering springs
Rebuilt rack and pinion steering
New tie rod ends

Interior:

Very nice assortment of the best
All original. Shows wear and tear
but still very acceptable. Seat covers are not
ripped or torn. Driver side could use some plumping.
Dash is un-cracked and solid. All gauges work fine
and the lenses are crystal clear.
Radio blanking plate stays put.
Carpets are fairly nice with only one hole
which is covered up with a pair of Yugo
floormats. Door cards are very nice, no speaker holes. The
targa top is upholstered inside and
quiets the ride.

Body:

The body is fine. A few nicks and dings
but nothing close to serious. The paint is somewhat tired,
but from a few feet away looks great.

Wheels and tires:

New Abarth CD-30's, 13 X 5.5
Tires 175/70 x 13

Lighting:

All exterior lighting works fine, headlights/tail lights/turn sigs, fine.

The only thing not working on the car is the heater. The fan is fine but the core is shot. Currently bypassed. Horns were removed but are with the car.
:)

There are a few extra parts included.

Mudge --- you're selling it too cheap in my opinion. Anyone interested in an X1/9 needs to snap this car up. Knowing him, the car is extremely well sorted out.

Most East Coast X1/9s disappeared in a pile of rust twenty years ago. I've always appreciated the generosity of California based owners who modify their rust free cars sufficiently that they must be shipped East to be licensed and driven on the street. Location, location, location.

A couple guys are set to arrive here today or tomorrow to transport the X to Missouri. Sounds like it'll be reduced to a racer.

AFAIK it'll be gone tomorrow.

Now to go back and focus on getting my Spider up to snuff again.
