Hi,
Either engine, I have an extra tc so that is not a worry. Restorable? Drive able is always nice.
Thanks

yeah as all know there is an early and late style 124 sedan. Early ones only had OHV motors
later ones with different chassis OHV or TC motors. The early chassis up to 71? will take a twin cam motor but not with out trade offs. I have fitted an early chassis 124 sedan with a two liter engine with a bolted up trans and there is clearance. But I have no hands on driving experience.

Facebook marketplace has a few within 25 miles of New Hope, PA 3,500 or under. One is $1,500, looks good, but needs floor pans and some "structural rust" taken care of...it's an early one with the small bumpers.
