Why can not these updated cars follow the successful recipe of the original. The original was highly functional with wicker seats and room for four friends. For a beach buggy/ fun car , a two seater with no windshield misses the point
My opinion if they just did the same with a new 500 keeping the roll bar putting in wicker seats with rubber mats you would have a winner. You could even have a surrey top to block the sun. That is a must down here in Texas .

Fiat has built a few of the new jolly in the old format. It could be for a production car, they had to do mundane stuff like add doors.
