1976 Fiat Spider 124

I have a 1976 Fiat Spider 124 convertible that I am looking to sell. The odometer reads 48,xxx miles and while I have no idea if it is original mileage or not, the car appears to be completely original and in good condition.

I purchased the car in Feb of 2017 with aspirations of restoring it and my wife was going to drive it whenever she wanted. It was a true barn find as the previous owner had placed it in storage 5 or 6 years prior to my purchase. I purchased the car from the original owners son and have title, owners manual and a repair manual with it. The car was purchased with the ac option and still retains the original 8 track player installed. The most amazing thing is the car has zero rust that I have found.

The fuel tank is clean and the electrical is not butchered up.

The interior needs attention but much of it needs a good cleaning.

In other words, it is a good solid car that deserves to be put finished up. I am not the one to due so.

The motor, trans and rear end are all turning by hand as they should. I have installed a a new brake master cylinder, new rear calipers and flex lines, rebuilt the front calipers and installed new brake pads. I also installed a new timing belt and removed the smog equipment but i have retained all of the parts that I removed.

It has the original paint from what i can tell and has a few dings. The drives side front fender does have a small dent at the headlight brow where the storage building it was previously in was damaged in a tornado.

I have attached a few pictures as it sits and can supply more to an interested party.

I would like to sell for $5,000 but am willing to negotiate as I ready to move forward with a different project.

Thanks for looking and I appreciate positive feedback or suggestions.

You don't mention where the car is located.

I would encourage you to watch the results of this auction to see what a Spider north of $5K looks like:

No matter what your price expectation is, you can deduct a bunch of money if it's dirty.

Compare these photos to yours, even with the *cough* car art, it presents as clean.

Good luck.
