Who would have guessed that the addition of a cool roof rack would make a car look so menacing!
oh, yeah, i added that also, but almost all my cars need to carry bicycles, so that's rather "standard"

Chris, I currently have the standard instrument cluster and a tach mounted on the steering column. I saw what Burrito did with a set of 850 gauges and some wrinkle powder coat. I bought a couple sets of 124 gauges and later realized I should’ve procured 850 ones...

What are you going to replace your Rally set with? I’ll buy it from you if you want to sell it. B-

Bark,

You should contact Mittlestead about the struts.

--Chris G., that 128 wagon is so cool, it's ridiculous! I wish I had one! :(

--Too bad, just having the badge doesn't count! (thanks Chris F. !)

Now now, Jim, you had a chance to buy the wagon and you live a lot closer to me than CG does. I'll give you first dibs on the white 77X that will probably be for sale this spring.

I'm still amazed that out of all the people closer to me, etc. I ended up with the car. I guess every so often I get lucky.

It's a great car.

On the topic of guages/rally stuff, I think either I wasn't clear or I'm not understanding....I have some "Rally" gauges for it...speedo/tach & side gauges for fuel, etc. but haven't installed them. In truth, all of that would be pretty simple to do with the only real challenging bit being space is rather tight behind the dash on 128s, so I had a theory (before finding the european rally gauges) that Spider 2K gauges would be an option.

After all the love that went into resuscitating the car (I was just the second owner), I am very grateful that it ended up in good hands.

I have the twin to the ex Richmond/Mittelstead 128. However, mine's not nearly as nice.
