Remove Input and Main Shaft Assemblies

a. Remove third and fourth shift fork (7), first and second shift fork (6). Although both forks are the
    same, do not mix to maintain wear.
b. Using an impact driver, remove three screws (2) and lockwashers (1).
c. Remove bearing retainer (3) and bearing (4).
d. Carefully work to slip input shaft assembly (8) out of case (9).
e. Disassemble as specified in Input Shaft Assembly.
f. Carefully move main shaft assembly (5) rearward, then remove from case (9).
g. Disassemble as specified in Main Shaft Assembly.
